Hello! Nice to meet you!
Before working in tech, I produced television content on technology, scientific innovation, and video games for Comcast's G4 Network in Los Angeles. In 2005, along with Kevin Rose and others, founded Digg.com. In 2007 I left entertainment permanently to work at Digg.com full time in San Francisco, California.
I've started my career in tech as a QA Engineer, which gave me a great perspective on advocating for the user. In 2012 I started my first full-time UX Design role at the woman's fashion eCommerce company, Nasty Gal. Since then, I've had the pleasure to contribute to a diversity of products, including analytics, educational platforms, and IoT.
Also, I've taught a ten-week immersive UX Design course at General Assembly in San Francisco.
I'm currently the UX Design Lead at Scorbit, also based in San Francisco. Scorbit is an IoT application that brings modern hardware and API driven technology to classic pinball and arcade games. Scorbit goes live late in 2020.
